Cross Country is a unique season as it is the only of the three high school sport seasons that allows athletes time to prepare before the season starts. You have from after the Spring State Championships until November to train for running the 5k at Sunken Meadow. The Bayport-Blue Point High School Girls Cross Country team has won a total of 12 county titles and one state championship. The Girls XC team, along with the Boys XC team, are the only two teams in BBP history to win state championships. Along with the team honors, we've also sent nine girls to the state championship meet individually.
